Yes, but the Northern Ireland Regulations have a different title.
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003.
The COSHH Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 (S.R. 2003 No. 34) were made on 24th January 2003 and came into operation on 28th February 2003.
The only difference of substance between them and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 is that regulation 4(2) of the 2002 Regulations prohibit the importation into the United Kingdom of certain substances and articles. There is, of course, no corresponding provision in the 2003 Regulations.
The Great Britain Approved Code of Practice has been approved for use with the Northern Ireland Regulations; the approval took effect on 28th February 2003.
