Each year there are 12,000 deaths due to occupational respiratory diseases in the UK.

33,000 workers last year had breathing or lung problems caused by or

made worse by exposures to dust and fumes at work.

Workers in the UK contract occupational asthma, COPD, Cancer and

other lung diseases due to breathing in too much dust and fumes, in workplaces

that do not have the correct control measures in place. This is where we come in.

Our History

P&J Dust Extraction Ltd was established in 1980 to create safer working environments for workers. Each year thousands of workers die or are significantly disabled by respiratory diseases due to breathing in too much dust and fumes at work including the father of one of our founding directors. Over the past 40 years we have been working across the UK as industry leaders in all aspects of LEV, delivering highly competent LEV services and excellent quality extraction products for organisations in all industry sectors.

Our engineers are all directly employed, highly skilled, BOHS qualified, members of ILEVE with enhanced DBS clearance. They're conveniently based throughout the UK; providing you with a local service from a national company.

P&J design, manufacture, supply and installation of dust and fume extraction systems. Post-installation we provide commissioning, maintenance, repairs and statutory testing for all types of extraction systems.

By following our advice you can ensure that you are protecting your employees health and that your workplaces are below the relevant benchmarks and statutory exposure limits for the hazardous airborne substances used or generated in your workplace. See our guarantee that you will not get an HSE FFI charge.

We are Investors in People company in recognition of our excellent record of staff development and training. P&J are UKAS accredited for LEV inspections, LEV thorough examination and test (TExT) and LEV commissioning. P&J and our staff are members of national and global associations (such as: ACGIH, BESA (HVCA), BOHS, CIBSE, IOSH) to keep up to date and share best practice.

Our staff has a combined experience of LEV design, installation and testing totalling over 330 years. Please get in touch with us today to discuss your requirements.
